GermanyXReader: The Race

As you walked past the bulletin board a neon yellow flyer caught your eye, with a bold headline RACE! You smirked at the thought of Ludwig, who will definatly enter, probably win. Suddenly you felt a surge of determination, you wouldn't let Ludwig win. You scribbled down the race details and raced to your next class.

Finally school ended and you rushed outside before anyone else. As you walked past the race track, you weren't surprised to see Ludwig and his friends Feliciano and Kiku warming up for training. Smirking at the thought of beating the star athleate. You had already told Ludwig about the race and made him promise to enter. Quickly you scurried away to practice to practice at your house, but you stepped on a twig, causing it to snap and the trio to notice you.
"Hey, ___, see you at the race in two weeks!" Ludwig called at you. You nodded, waved, and sprinted away. Ludwig stared at you as you ran away, you ran fast for a girl, but I run faster, he thought, as he shook himself out of that dazed state and ran after Kiku who had a head start.

After two weeks of hard practice for hours on end, you finally stood on the starting line with Ludwig on your right and some other strong boys who were showing off, ironically, you were the only girl there. You and Ludwig stretched out and were now in ready position because the horn, that will signal the start of the race should blow in any second now.... HONK! You sped off, Ludwig behind you. You slowed down at a turn and Ludwig passed you, and when you looked at him you were amazed at how gracefully he could run. Unconsciously you started to slow down, and some guy from school passed you. Silently you cursed and picked up speed again catching up to Ludwig. The finish line was in sight now, so you pushed with all your might and sprinted passed Ludwig. The banner came
closer..
         closer...
                                                                                                              and closer.
You were the first one to cross the finish line! You smirked at Ludwig as he came up to you.
"You're good,______, would you like to come train with me, and then get some ice cream?"
You smiled at Ludwig's version of a date then replied, "Sure on one condition, ice cream first."
Ludwig nodded  a pink tint dusted his face as he took your hand and headed toward the ice cream shop. After a few minutes you challenged, "Let's race?" Ludwig groaned as you left him in the dust.
