FranceXReader: Hair

You walked into the hair salon looking for anyone.
"Hello?"you uncertainly asked. As soon as you uttered the words the curtain in the back billowed to life, as a fine man strode out. "Francis?" you questioned.
"Oui, it's me," he muttered and motioned for you to sit in the chair, you complied. Francis slid the black cape over you.
"So..." you attempted to make small talk as Francis started to snip your hair, "how come I don't see you at school anymore?"
"You see, my family needed money, so I help out here in this hair salon," he replied.
" Aw, such a loyal family member," you cooed. Francis blushed.
"you want your hair longer in the front?" he asked trying to change the subject. Francis straightened he was holding and measured it against your face, and bushed as his fingers brushed your soft skin.
"No keep it all the same length," you replied as you ran your fingers through your long-soon-to-be-short hair.
"And how long, mademoiselle?" Francis asked.
"Chin-length," you requested.
"Oui," the Frenchman agreed as he set to work.
"Today is your birthday, I heard," Francis commented casually.
"Yeah," you sheepishly murmured.
"I have a present for you," Francis said.
"Really?" you raised your eyebrows, on the inside you were overjoyed because you loved presents. Francis started to snip more aggressively than before.
"There, done," Francis pronounced after a few minutes. He walked around you and made a face, "But needs a little something." Francis walked to the curtain and pulled something out, and walked towards you. "Close your eyes,__," he whispered. You complied closing your eyes, you could feel Francis do something to your hair. "There, that's perfect," Francis purred, and handed you a mirror. You gasped, in your newly cut hair sat a sturdy red, white, and blue striped headband, the colors of France, with heart on the right side that said, Je t'aime, French for I love you, in bubbly letters.
"Oh, Francis this is beautiful, did you make it?" you squealed.
"Ohonhonhon, of course," he laughed, "I'm glad you like it."
"This is the best birthday present ever!" you squeaked.
"This, then, will be even better," Francis whispered and kissed you on the cheek.
